Swap BTC to Monero without KYC

Send Bitcoin from your own wallet, give a Monero address, receive XMR there. No account, no email, and we never ask you for identity documents. Below is what this swap actually costs in time and what size it works at - both read live.

Rate, size and time, both directions

Most pages on this question publish a rate and stop. The number that decides whether the swap works for you is the size band, so it is here, in both directions, read at the moment this page was served:

DirectionRateMinimumMaximumConfirmations
BTC → XMR1 BTC ≈ 156.784 XMR0.0001 BTC7.98745 BTC3~30 min
XMR → BTC1 XMR ≈ 0.00624368 BTC0.253145 XMR1265.72 XMR10~20 min

A floating rate settles when your deposit confirms, so the final figure moves with the market during the wait. The maximum is enforced: an amount above it is refused when you ask for a quote, not discovered after you have sent.

Fixed rate instead

If you would rather the number not move while Bitcoin confirms, the fixed rate locks it when the order is created and the order page counts down how long you have to send. It costs 1% instead of 0.5%:

1 BTC ≈ 155.583 XMR

How it works

  1. Enter the amount in BTC. The form quotes it, with the exact figure you receive, before anything is created.
  2. Paste the Monero address the XMR should land on. It is checked for that network before the order is accepted.
  3. Send the BTC to the deposit address shown. The order page tracks confirmations as they arrive.
  4. The XMR is sent to your address. The order page carries the transaction, so you can verify the payout yourself.

What actually changes when you cross over

  • Bitcoin is the most closely watched chain there is. Addresses get clustered and labelled by firms that sell exactly that, and a label attached to an address today applies to everything it ever did. Monero does not expose the amount or either party on-chain, so there is nothing of that kind to attach.
  • Nobody can freeze BTC, and nobody can freeze XMR. Neither has an issuer holding a list, which is the difference between this pair and swapping out of a token like USDT.
  • The crossing itself stays visible. Your Bitcoin transfer to the deposit address is public and permanent. What ends is the trail forward, not the record that you swapped.
  • Monero is thinly traded next to Bitcoin. Large amounts move the price against you, which is part of why the maximum above exists, and the way back out is narrower than the way in.

What "no KYC" means here

No account, no email, and no request for identity documents - not from the person swapping. Incoming funds are screened against sanctioned addresses and money linked to thefts, hacks and laundering services; a flagged deposit pauses for human review and either completes or goes back. Full policy on the AML page.

Honest limitations

  • Bitcoin confirmations are the slow part and they are not ours to speed up. Plan for the wait in the table, not for an instant swap.
  • Blockchain transfers are irreversible. BTC sent to a wrong or mistyped address cannot be recovered by us or by anyone.
  • The rates above are indicative until you request a quote, and a quote expires rather than being held open.
  • We screen deposits. If the plan is to move stolen coins, this is the wrong service, and we would rather say so than take the order.

Questions people actually ask

Can I swap BTC to Monero without an account?

Yes. There is no registration anywhere in the flow - you enter an amount and a receiving Monero address, and that is the whole form. No email is required; one is offered only if you want a notification when the order finishes.

How long does BTC to XMR take?

The wait is set by Bitcoin, not by us: the exchange waits for the confirmation count shown in the table above before it will pay out, which in normal conditions is around half an hour. Once confirmed, the Monero payout follows immediately.

What is the maximum I can swap?

It is in the table above and it is a real ceiling, not a guideline - an order above it is refused at quote time rather than accepted and then stuck. It moves with what the route can absorb, which is why the page reads it rather than printing a fixed number.

Floating or fixed rate?

Floating costs 0.5% and settles at the rate when your deposit confirms, so the final amount moves during the Bitcoin wait. Fixed costs 1% and locks the number when the order is created, with a countdown on the order page for how long you have to send. Fixed is the one to pick if the wait worries you more than the extra half a percent.

Is the swap actually private?

Partly, and it is worth being precise. The XMR you receive is private on Monero. The Bitcoin you sent is not - that transfer is public and permanent, and it shows an address of yours sending to a deposit address. The privacy starts after the swap, not before it.

Can I go back from XMR to BTC?

Yes, and the rate and limits for that direction are in the same table above. It is worth checking the maximum before you commit in the first direction, because the way back is usually the narrower one.
