SwapSS Pay — Merchant Terms

Last updated: 8 September 2025

The whole agreement for accepting crypto payments through SwapSS Pay, written to be read. The short version: your balance is yours, a hold has a named reason and a person behind it, and your customers stay as private as our exchange customers.

1. What this is

SwapSS Pay lets your business accept cryptocurrency payments: invoices, balances, payouts, refunds, webhooks. These Terms are the whole agreement for merchant accounts, operated by Skotjer Group Ltd, the entity named in the Terms of Service. Exchanging coins on SwapSS needs no account and is governed by the Terms of Service, not this document.

2. Opening an account

Opening a merchant account includes a short business check: what the business is, its website, the expected volume. A person reviews every application. We re-check only when something real changes — the business, the volume pattern, or the law — and we tell you what triggered it. We do not collect documents for the sake of collecting documents.

3. Getting paid

Every invoice gets its own address. A payment is credited when the network confirms it at the confirmation threshold shown on the invoice; you can ask for a higher threshold per invoice, never a lower one. An underpayment or an overpayment is never silently absorbed: the invoice is marked, you get the webhook, and a person reconciles it with you.

4. Balance and payouts

Your balance is yours, and no clause of these Terms converts it into ours: the ledger has no seizure operation, by design. You request a payout when you choose; a person reviews and sends it. We do not publish a payout schedule yet, because we only publish timings the software enforces. If anything about your balance is ever held, the hold has a named reason from Section 7, or a legal obligation we name to you as far as the law allows, and a person behind it.

5. Refunds to your customers

You initiate refunds to your customers from your balance; we review and execute them. We never require your customer to identify themselves to receive a refund.

6. Your customers stay private

You receive payment facts: amounts, assets, transaction hashes, invoice status. You do not receive payer identity from us, because we do not have it. Do not use SwapSS Pay to try to acquire it.

7. What you may not sell

The prohibited list is short and finite: stolen credentials and payment-card data; cracked or pirated software, keys and activators; malware, attack tooling and attack services; and anything illegal where you or your buyer are. We change this list only by publishing a new version of these Terms, never retroactively and never through "including but not limited to".

8. Webhooks and API

Webhooks are signed and timestamped, safe to verify and deduplicate, logged, and retried on a bounded, published schedule; the integration docs carry the exact header and schedule. Your endpoint failing never changes a balance twice and never hides a settlement. Keep your API keys secret: keys carry scopes, and anything signed with them is yours.

9. Fees

One service fee, visible in your dashboard and returned by the account API before you connect anything. Fee changes take effect only after notice and never retroactively.

10. Suspension and leaving

We can suspend an account for exactly three reasons: a Section 7 violation, a legal obligation we name to you as far as the law allows, or an unresolved reconciliation from Section 3. Suspension stops new invoices; it does not touch your right to what is yours. Either side can walk away with 30 days' notice, no reason needed, and the balance pays out on the way.

11. Our liability

If we credit, settle or refund wrongly, we restore your position. We do not answer for your buyers, your products, or networks we do not run.

12. Versions and language

Same rules as the Terms of Service: dated versions, the version you accepted governs until a new one takes effect after notice, and the English text governs if a translation disagrees.
