What happened to eXch

The operators announced they would close on May 1, 2025. Germany’s federal criminal police seized the platform’s servers, its data and roughly 38 million dollars in crypto, and made the takedown public on May 9. eXch is not coming back, and anything wearing its name today is not it.

What stays the same

No account. You enter an amount and a receiving address; that is the entire form.
No balance. Coins pass through a swap and land at your address. Nothing sits here.
A locked rate. The number you see when you start is the number that arrives.

What is different here, on purpose

We screen incoming funds. A deposit that trips a risk check stops and goes to a human for review instead of dissolving into a pool. If your plan is to wash stolen coins, SwapSS is the wrong place. If your plan is to swap crypto without handing your name and history to one more database, it is the right one. That difference is exactly why we expect to still be online next year.
