Litecoin → Monero
Exchange Litecoin (LTC) to Monero (XMR)
Low fees in, real privacy out. No account required.
Litecoin moves fast and costs almost nothing to send, which is exactly why so many people use it to fund a Monero wallet. Send LTC once, we lock the rate up front, and XMR lands in your wallet with none of it visible on a public ledger.
How to exchange Litecoin (LTC) to Monero (XMR)
- 01 Enter the amount and your Monero (XMR) address.
- 02 Send Litecoin in one transaction to the deposit address we give you.
- 03 Receive XMR in your wallet - Litecoin confirms fast, so it's usually quick.
Cheap way in
Litecoin's network fee is a fraction of a cent, so almost your whole balance turns into Monero instead of getting eaten by fees on the way.
Real privacy on the other side
Monero hides the amount and the recipient by default. Once your LTC becomes XMR, nobody reading the chain can follow that transaction.
No account, no approval to wait on
Paste an address, send coins, get coins. We don't hold a balance for you and don't ask who you are.
Rate locked before you send
You see the exact amount of XMR you'll get before sending a single LTC. Whatever the market does after that is on us, not you.
Send Litecoin only on the native Litecoin network - not a wrapped token from an exchange and not an imitation coin on another chain. Use a standard Monero address; XMR doesn't have separate networks to confuse, but check every character since Monero won't forgive a typo in the address. We credit your deposit once it has enough confirmations on the Litecoin network, then send XMR out. People like this pair for the economics of the entry: Litecoin is cheap to move, so it gets you into the privacy coin while losing almost nothing along the way. The rate is fixed before you send and is not revisited mid-flight. Send the deposit as a single transaction, and the order will not need a manual untangling. The exact rate and the minimum and maximum for this pair are shown live in the swap form above.

FAQ
Will I need an account or identity confirmation?
Neither one: the form asks for an amount and your XMR address, and that is the end of it - no sign-up, no password to lose later. The checks are built around the money, not the person: an incoming transfer is assessed automatically. If the Litecoin cannot be cleared, the deposit returns to the sender address, which is yours.
How soon will the XMR come through?
Litecoin on the deposit side is a moderately fast network: confirmations come in briskly, and the swap gets moving without a long pause. Monero then works at its own calm rhythm, with no queue on our side. Exact timing depends on network conditions rather than on us, and the order status always shows what is happening.
What if I send LTC from the wrong network?
Only send real Litecoin on the Litecoin network. A wrapped token or coins from a different chain won't arrive. If you're not sure what you're holding, message @swappsy before you send.
Is this safe? Do you hold my coins?
We don't hold a balance for you. LTC comes in, XMR goes out to your address, and that's the extent of what we do with your money. Nothing sits parked waiting on a decision.
Will the XMR arrive on the Monero network itself?
Yes, and only there: Monero lives on its own network, and no token version on another chain is used for the payout. Give an address from a Monero wallet and check it in full. After the swap the transfer cannot be read from outside: amount and recipient are closed by default on this network.
What if something goes wrong - do I get a refund?
If the exchange can't complete - wrong address format, amount outside the allowed range - we reach out and refund to a Litecoin address you control. If you don't hear from us, contact @swappsy. A deposit that did not convert never settles with us - the money rides back under your control.
Why swap Litecoin for Monero instead of buying XMR directly?
Litecoin is cheap and fast to move, so a lot of people hold it just to pass through - buy LTC somewhere easy, then swap here to land in Monero without extra stops.
