What Is Tron (TRX) and Why USDT Is Cheap There

Tron explained: the blockchain with the lowest USDT transfer fees, how TRC-20 works, and what to check before you send.

What Is Tron (TRX) and Why USDT Is Cheap There

Tron is a blockchain known above all as the cheapest network for sending USDT. The native coin is TRX. Most of the USDT in circulation is held and moved on Tron: the fee for a transfer is a fraction of a dollar.

Why USDT is cheap here

Tron was designed from the start for high volume at low cost. Blocks confirm quickly, and the fee per operation does not scale with load the way it does on Ethereum. The result: sending USDT on TRC-20 costs roughly tens of times less than sending the same USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20).

What to watch when using Tron

TRC-20 and ERC-20 are different networks. You cannot send TRC-20 USDT to an ERC-20 address. The money will go somewhere you cannot reach. Always check which network the recipient accepts.

TRX is required to pay fees. If your wallet holds no TRX, the USDT transfer will not go through. Keep a small amount of TRX on the wallet.

Confirmation speed is good: Tron transactions confirm in seconds.

Where people use it

Sending USDT between wallets and exchanges, settling payments between individuals and businesses, paying for services in crypto. You can swap TRX or get USDT TRC-20 at swapss.lol/exchange.
