We lock the price the moment you start. Nothing added on top: what you see is what you get.
Your coins do not sit with us
We do not hold a balance. Ethereum comes in and goes straight out as Bitcoin to your address.
Straight to your own wallet
Bitcoin goes to your address, not to an account with us. Control stays with you.
Ethereum is sent on the Ethereum network and Bitcoin arrives on the Bitcoin network. Send a Bitcoin address. This is a move from the smart-contract chain into the oldest, most conservative ledger on the market: the two run on different clocks, so the incoming leg usually confirms faster than the outgoing one. Send the deposit on Ethereum mainnet, not from an L2 - a transfer from another network does not count for this pair. After pasting the Bitcoin address, compare its first and last characters. The exact rate and minimum are shown right in the swap form.

FAQ
Do I have to open an account to swap?
No, the swap runs without an account or email: the amount and a Bitcoin address are all it takes. We do not look into who is sending and ask for no identity confirmations. Automated screening covers only the funds, and if an incoming payment cannot be cleared, the ETH returns to the sender address, which stays in your hands.
What decides how long the swap runs?
Usually it is quick, and the timing hangs mostly on the Ethereum network confirming your deposit: it moves at a middling pace - not the quickest chain around, yet far brisker than Bitcoin. Once your transfer is locked in, the payout begins, and the last stretch is confirmations on the Bitcoin side. The order status shows where things stand.
Is it safe?
The rate is locked up front, your coins never sit with us, and Bitcoin goes straight to your address.
What if I use the wrong address?
Send ETH from the Ethereum network and give a Bitcoin address to receive. If anything is off, message support.
Which network does the Bitcoin arrive on?
Its own - the Bitcoin network. In this swap BTC is not a token on some other chain, so the receiving address must come from a wallet that handles Bitcoin. A regular on-chain address works; an Ethereum address or a Lightning invoice will not.
The swap did not complete - how do I get my funds back?
Leave a return address and we send the money there: a deposit we could not exchange goes back out instead of staying with us. The return travels on the same network the funds came in on, so give an address you actually use.
Does sending ETH from an exchange account work?
Yes, an exchange withdrawal behaves like any other transfer: it has to go out on the Ethereum mainnet, in one transaction, to the address shown. Bear in mind the exchange processes withdrawals at its own speed, and that time is added on top of the swap.
