RandomX hashrate by processor

The fastest single-socket result each processor has on xmrig.com/benchmark, checked 2026-07-28. These are best-case community submissions on tuned machines, so treat them as a ceiling rather than a promise: RandomX is memory-hard, and RAM speed, huge pages, cooling and background load routinely cost double-digit percentages. The samples column is there so you can weigh a figure backed by thousands of runs against one backed by a handful. Power is the manufacturer's rated base TDP, which real all-core mining draw exceeds.

Why a CPU picker instead of a hashrate box

Pick your processor from the list instead of hunting for your hashrate first, add what you pay for electricity, and see the result at the current network difficulty and price. Every other calculator asks for a hashrate you are supposed to already know, which is precisely the number a newcomer does not have. Choosing a processor and getting a realistic figure is the useful order, and the measured numbers behind the list come from published community benchmarks rather than from us.

What moves the answer most

Three things dominate, and only one is about the chip.

  • Electricity price: at high tariffs, power cost decides profitability entirely.
  • Network difficulty: your share of the network shrinks as others join.
  • Memory and configuration: RandomX is memory-hard, so RAM speed and huge-page settings can move real performance well away from a benchmark figure.

Read this as an estimate, not a promise

Difficulty and price both move continuously, and rewards arrive as pool payouts rather than a smooth daily stream. Treat the output as an order of magnitude - useful for deciding whether to bother, not for planning income.

Questions

Can I still mine Monero on a normal computer?
Yes. Monero deliberately uses an algorithm designed to run well on general-purpose processors, which is why CPU mining remains meaningful when it has stopped being so almost everywhere else.
Why is my real hashrate different from the list?
Memory speed, huge-page support, cooling and background load all move RandomX performance. The list gives a realistic starting point; your own miner reports the truth.
Does mining make my Monero more private?
Mined coins have no prior transaction history, which is a different property from privacy on the network. Monero transactions are private regardless of where the coins came from.
